Let me start off by saying that these children are the happiest and the most loving kids, especially for what they deal with on a day to day basis. I teach 20 students, 8 girls and 12 boys. I teach in a low socioeconomic city where students come to school without book bags or even a pencil. Majority of my students live below poverty and receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch. My students are very driven and want to make the very best of their life through education. They believe in themselves and they are constantly working with a smile on their face to reach their goals.

About my class
