I have 24 students. I have been truly blessed this year with a wonderful group of students. They all get along and truly care about each other. I have a multicultural class. There are 9 English Language Learners in our room. Our school is a Title One school. We have over 80% free or reduced students in our building. This means that most of our students are in the lower socio-economic spectrum. Most of my students did not attend preschool. At the start of the year 6 of my students could only speak a little English. Half of my students could not recognize their upper and lower case letters or the sounds of the letters. All of my student's literacy skills have improved a lot this year.
