As I already stated, our students currently have access to 3D printers in all of our elementary schools. Students are very disappointed when they reach middle school and no longer have access to these printers. Allowing all students access to 21st century technology tools is vital to preparing them for the STEAM fields that will exist when they enter the workforce. 3D printing promotes skills that are essential to being productive global citizens such as researching, problem solving & collaborating. The showcase of learning we have seen via 3D printing at the elementary level is amazing and beyond what we could have ever dreamed. Please help us continue to give this opportunity to our students as they move up to middle school.
