When I first started the Puzzler Club, it began as an after school program for third graders. I approached the surrounding neighborhood to donate puzzles for the club. Although we were successful in having several puzzles donated, many of these puzzles had 2 - 3 pieces missing. Four years later, the club has grown in popularity among the students and now also includes fourth and fifth graders. Despite the high interest for this club, the supplies are low and need replenishing. By donating to this club, you are helping the students to do hands-on problem solving in a fun way, bringing out the little engineers in them. Through a newer donation last year, I discovered the children also enjoyed challenging themselves to create different marble run routes. I am hoping for new puzzles and some additional STEM items to really push their thinking skills to a higher level.
