My students are all getting ready for kindergarten transition and they need new classroom materials to provide them with meaningful learning experiences. Puzzles and manipulative would improve their hand/eye coordination and fine motor abilities. The sand and water table would provide students to engage in cooperative play that would likely improve their play interaction and social skills. The storage bin would give them opportunities to choose their play, and this would foster independence. Developing this skill would make them successful in kindergarten. My students also have diverse needs and providing them with new and exciting toys would give them a sense of confidence in their ability to learn new things.
