All my students have an Individual Education Plans (IEP) which is individualized and based on student's educational needs. My student's IEPs are based and focused on academic standards in content areas of reading, writing, and math. As a teacher, I strive daily to hold high expectations and create a learning environment where my students can be successful. My students energize and surprise me everyday by taking responsibility for their learning and eagerness to learn new concepts. All my students have great attitudes and amazing personalities. Our class truly feels like a little family: striving to be good friends and supporting each other throughout our learning day. My school is a Title One school located in a older neighborhood. The majority of my students receive free breakfast and lunches. My students come from a diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
