I am a Physical Education Teacher from a large elementary school. Most of my students are English language learners who come from low income households. Many work very hard to assimilate to their new culture and make progress academically by attending after school programs. Situations such as these provide little time for physical activities. Many only partake in such activies during Physical Education class.
