Imagine teaching in the remote learning setting with no viable English Language Arts curriculum in a digital format. What this means is that my colleagues and I, scour the internet nightly and spend many hours of our free time, creating digital lessons to then present and assess our students. After finishing the first quarter doing this, I plan to make a change. If given the chance to use a gift card on Teacher's Pay Teachers, I know that I can find valuable already-made lessons that my students are sure to enjoy. Remote learning is hard enough for teachers and students alike. Having the ability to build a bank of resources from TPT is my goal, so I do not have to continually create my own digital resources for ELA nightly.
