The majority of my students are low income, Hispanic students who are on the reduced lunch program. They come to school excited and happy every day. I love this about them. They are always eager to learn. As a whole, their families struggle to get by and send their children to school out of necessity, as school provides a safe place for them and two meals a day. Many of my students turned 5 in the months of November and December. They are very young, but very eager.
