The learners we have are diverse, but all seem to have on one thing in common: they are so excited and willing to learn through technology. We are a Title I school who wants this type of technology, but is not always able to afford it. Below our entire class has written a proposal for our project! Our 5th grade class needs the extra Chromebooks to help us learn. We love to learn, write, research, code, and be detectives of the world. One program we use to become more inspired to learn is i-Ready. On i-Ready we learn through lesson that are just right for each student in Mathematics and ELA (English Language Arts). For writing, let’s say goodbye to paper and hello to Google Docs! Google Docs is a critical website that we are able to write narrative stories and informational texts with. In our writing, we can add pictures and captions, learn how to use hot keys, and we can share our docs with our teacher so she can comment and give feedback on our work in and out of school time.
