Science is a hands on process! With these board games I'll be able to expand on the content that I teach my students by allowing them to take the wheel and "control" evolution, better understanding survival of the fittest and natural selection. They'll be able to see the effects plants can have on one another when competing for the requirements of photosynthesis, and finally they will be able to think about bio mes and the needs of organisms on this planet and better grasp why Climate change is a problem. All of these games allow me to give the students fun hands on experience that when paired with appropriate content knowledge leads to a better understanding of Biology while also enjoying school and having fun.
