I teach in a supportive and welcoming school that serves a mostly low income, transient population. My students often come in with math and reading skills several years below grade level, so we work hard every day to fill in these educational gaps. Our school sends a strong message that intelligence is not innate - we must work hard to get smart! This is exactly what happens in my classroom each day as we word towards our goal of becoming "the best fourth grade class ever!"

About my class
