My home away from home is a Title I school in a low income neighborhood. Often parents try to help their children, but are physically unable to after working multiple jobs to try and make ends meet and pay their monthly bills. These students crave stability and a caring/loving environment which they receive when they walk through my doors each day. They are sweet children and such hard workers--but unfortunately they don't have the same opportunities and experiences that other students do in more affluent neighborhoods. I want to give them the world and the best opportunities for a bright and successful future!

About my class
