I teach on the East Side of town in a very impoverished area. My school is dominated by minority students most of which receive free or reduced lunches. My school has a very rare opportunity to bring back most of which has been taken from schools in California such as: music, art, science and technology. However, being this is our first year we do not have many of the materials needed to facilitate a comprehensive program. I would like to share with these children the world wide web and the opportunities it possesses for them. Many do not have a computer at home and school is the only place they have computer access.

About my class
