Our school is focusing on a reading workshop initiative this school year. We believe it is crucial that we have relevant, engaging titles in our classroom libraries. The books included in this project will help to build the libraries of our sixth-grade classrooms. Many classrooms have outdated titles that tell a single story. We believe that in order to create life-long readers, our students need to read books that reflect who they are and allow them to learn about the lives of others. It is our hope that with reinvigorated classroom libraries, students leave our school with a passion for reading!

About my class
