My computer, is an older model macbook and is inconsistent with its efficiency. We are in our second year of Virtual Learning as we began utilizing last March of 2020. When it was new my computer worked well but now, I have had frequent incidences where I have to restart my computer and temporarily leave my students to come back in to our platform in order for me to have audio and camera devices actually working. This has happened I know to other colleagues. Diligently I test the system of course before school starting around 6:30 am, but still there are times when the computer just does not have either the audio or camera capability without a restart. The earphones that I am requesting would also allow me to have that uninterrupted teaching experience. Given my family residence and members working from home as well, I am left to work in the basement and the wireless head phones I know will make a world of difference. Being an English language teacher it is a necessity for me to hear and see the articulation and production of my students’ words. Undoubtedly, these two items could significantly improve my connection to my students and the required trainings online as well.
