Our school has a Title I status which means our students are predominantly minority children who receive free or reduced lunch, receive assistance with food at home through our Backpack Buddies program and require community help through our Family Involvement Coordinator. My largest classes are my Pre-Ap which encompass hardworking, bright students who truly want to learn and are forever with a book in their hand. Because many of our students never leave their immediate neighborhood, these books provide a glimpse to the outside world. They know that education will give them more than a glimpse of that reality.
