My school is at an economic disadvantage. Most students I serve receive free or reduced lunch, have parents who do not speak English, or are illiterate, and some don't even have the ability to practice reading at home. What's great about my students is that these things do not stop them from wanting to learn. My students are eager and try their best. I definitely want to foster their love of reading, especially at a young age.
