My students are amazing. The school I work in is incredibly diverse...about 30% Caucasian, 30% African-American, 30% Hispanic, and 10% Asian, Native American, Middle Eastern, etc. The best thing about the diversity of our school is that you can walk into the cafeteria and see students from every walk of life enjoying life together. Our students don't care about race, gender, sexual orientation, or economic status. It is truly a school built on community and family. Together we are working to break cycles of poverty and change lives.
