Hi! I am the Lead Teacher at a Mathematics and Science Magnet School. Our school is amazing and unique in many ways. First of all, we are a 6-12 school. Our Middle School and High School students work beautifully together, and having both levels allows us to accelerate our Middle School students into High School classes. Our students are so brilliant that they all take Advanced and Honors level classes. . We don't even offer regular level core classes! Our curriculum has a strong emphasis on Science, so our students all take a Science Lab in addition to their content Science class. This gives our students an opportunity to have a lot more hands-on experience in Science than your typical school since they have two class periods for Science. In addition, all students take a Research class beginning in 8th grade to further increase their Science immersion.
