The students in my class are great! They are willing to learn and have a curiosity for new things like all small children. I teach first grade so the students in my class are 6 or 7 years old. The dynamic of students in my class consist of regular education students, ELL students and Special Education Students. We live in a low income area where jobs are limited. The students in my class have been homeless at times, live in low income housing, and most receive reduced or free lunch. With all that as part of their reality these students are amazing! They have a hunger to learn, learn, learn! And, as their teacher it is my duty and privilege to do so!
