My class consists of 36 second graders that are eager to learn and thirsting for new information. They are all at an economical disadvantage and receive free or reduced lunch through school funding. Our school was built over 15 years ago and is technologically outdated. Our principal is trying very hard to update our school but finds it challenging because of the lack of funds. All of our textbooks are linked to technology and have a lot of enriching material that is online but I find very hard to access without sufficient computers. Our social Studies is mainly accessible online which is a challenge unless we visit the computer lab which we are scheduled for only once a week.
