Our school is an elementary school located in an urban neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri. My classroom is comprised of children diagnosed with multiple handicaps across many categories. Most children attending our school come from low socioeconomic situations. One hundred percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Our classroom in an inclusion classroom that offers students the ability to learn and develop at their own pace with the help and guidance from multiple teachers and therapists. The children in our classroom learn best when presented with options for motivating them to learn and interest them to participate.
