We live in a fast moving world, so sitting still and listening is hard for young learners to grasp. With the wobble cushions this will help my student's brain enough to create focus. I have had students use these items and it has increased their ability to sit still and listen. This will give my students opportunity to be a good listener but keep them moving at the same time. The fidget toys help movement to be directed, and this helps enhance learning. Furthermore, movement is essential for learning because the learner is required to use both the left and right hemispheres of the brain. Our classrooms are not equipped for young learners to help focus their energy. This grant will help them focus and listen so they can become life long learners.
