My students have disabilities that range from mild to severe needs. All of them are in regular education classrooms, and come to my room for academic support anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours per day. They range in age from Kindergarten to Sixth grade. They are hard workers and never give up, even when the work seems overwhelming. Many of them don't receive the support they need at home and we often end up being their nurses, counselors, and cheerleaders. Our school is in a community that values education, yet budget cuts have made it difficult to meet the technological needs of our students.
