Our class of 3- to 5-year-old students includes children with special needs. We are located in a high poverty area. Many of our students are English Language Learners or come to school with limited vocabulary. Story and music time are instrumental in our program to build language skills in our students before they begin kindergarten. A few of our special needs students in the classroom require special seats. Having a larger carpet will ensure that all children will fit on the carpet.
