The seating option I chose for my classroom will help empower students. The wobble stools allow for student movement as they fidget back and forth or side to side with their body. This physical activity increases their physical health, increasing oxygen and blood flow to the brain while strengthening their core. Flexible seating gives students the power to choose the type of seat that is the most comfortable for them, allows them to be fidgety, and disperse their 5 year old energy! Flexible seating teaches students how to work in a community by taking turns with the seat they want at that time. They will learn patience and sharing, powerful lessons for our society.
