I teach my entire school of elementary students in grades K to 4th grade, once per week, in a lab setting for science exploration. The lab work is tied to their class curriculum. My students are from a variety of backgrounds, urban to suburbs, as well as a variety of levels. We have about 22% gifted. My students are typically curious, mostly confident, and generally highly motivated by science.
