My Kindergarten students are goal driven dreamers. They have BIG dreams and want to achieve their goals. Even though many of them are first timers to the school world, they have shown a passion for their education and a dedication to see it through. Our school may be poor but the teachers have high expectations and the students here have BIG dreams. Our school has implemented a new program (really a philosophy) of Turn Around Schools/No Excuses University. It really puts an emphasis on exposing students, especially those in poverty, to college preparedness by getting them read for college in Elementary school. Our goal is to prepare every child for college if they so choose to attend and prepare them to be a productive citizen for our community.
