Our school has qualified as a Title I school in Hawaii for the past several years. My students come from diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds, many of whom are 2nd and 3rd generation Americans. We also have a growing population of students from the Marshall Islands who have settled in the public housing project in our community.
