My students attend a Title I school in Atlanta, Georgia. Most of them come from very unstable homes with little or no income. As a matter of fact I even have some students who are homeless. Every student at my school is on free breakfast and lunch. My school is predominantly African American. I have very hard working and self- motivated students. The look forward to coming to school everyday and get excited whenever exposed to amenities related to new age technology like the iPad. For the most part, their only access to quality guidance and direction is at school. We need two iPads to provide them access to technology so they can complete technology-related class projects in school because most of them have none at home. These iPads would be wonderful addition to our classroom because the students would be encouraged to complete educational research through technology and love school more.
