My students are excited to learn and love to come to school. Their home lives are not always easy and loving. They come from extreme poverty where parents struggle to provide basic necessities. Many enter my classroom two years below grade level in reading, writing and math. It is my job to fill the gaps as best I can, by providing them with all the resources they need to succeed from basic essentials to books to technology. My students deserve the right to a rich and fair education.
