My students attend a rural high school in the mountains of East Tennessee. Our band program encompasses both high schools in our county brought together under the name " The Red Regiment of Cocke County." The ten elementary schools in the county are taught by the high school staff, and they all feed into the Red Regiment. Our students are hardworking, highly dedicated band members in spite of the high poverty rate of our county.
