My classroom is made up of a diverse group of great students who reflect San Francisco's multiculturalism. My students come from all socio-economic backgrounds with some who have access to many books at home and some who have access to none. We are part of a small school that provides a small-town family feel but which doesn't have an extensive collection of diverse books for new readers.
