Our classroom is located in a high need area on the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation. Some of our students are beginning their school experience without the necessary background knowledge to provide a solid foundation for learning. Many students have had limited experience with technology, resources they will need to navigate throughout their education and outside the walls of our school. While they are in my classroom, I do my best to provide them with engaging, meaningful, and active learning experiences to help close this achievement gap and give them a positive future filled with hopes and dreams.

About my class
