My students are eager to find out about the world around them. Some have traveled to other states and countries, others have not left the state of NJ. Talk to them about traveling and eyes light up! I am sometimes not able to start my lesson for the day without at least four or five stories about who has traveled and where they went! They are so excited and ready to explore the world with me in any way they can. We are a K-2 suburban school with a somewhat varied cultural background. The children embrace the similarities and differences we all have.
