My students come from many backgrounds and come into my classroom with a variety of learning skills and styles. Teaching Kindergarten students provides the unique challenge of having some students come in with reading and math skills while some cannot read or recognize numbers. Working in an urban school system, resources are scarce and basic classroom materials are surprisingly hard to come by.
