Our public school ranges from grades three to eight. It is located in a small, suburban community. My third grade students are eager to learn, highly motivated, and determined to read as many books as possible this year! Some have already challenged themselves to read 100 books! They are always striving to be life-long learners and do their best. Each student is unique, which makes our school a wonderful place to teach, learn, and grow everyday. My goal is to provide my students with as many mentor and non-fiction texts as possible, so they can use their Reader's Workshop reading techniques to develop into life-long readers.

About my class
