We are in need of technology in the classroom. My students are extremely limited to their use of technology, due to only having four computers in the classroom. In fact, some of my students only have the opportunity of accessing technology when in school. Through the use of technology in the classroom, my students will be able to use the iReady online program in order to show growth in specific Mathematics domains, conduct research on Social Studies topics, participate in interactive learning, and so much more! Specifically, i-Ready helps determine children's learning needs in specified Math domains, personalize their learning, and monitor progress and growth throughout the school year. In my classroom, i-Ready is also used as I assign specific lessons in order to differentiate students' learning and meet their specific needs. With new technology resources, my students will be able to practice and improve their Mathematics skills and grow a love for Math in a fun and interactive way!
