My students are hardworking, talented, energetic and uphold a zest for success. It is evident that they have established a common goal to graduate from middle school while earning a high grade point average. They love to take on challenges that incorporate learning. They are committed to their classes and music program. Due to poverty and adverse situations, many of them are put at a disadvantage simply because of the family's income level. They constantly find innovative ways to succeed in their academics. Each child strives to become the best student/musician that he can be. My students take time to learn from their past mistakes while encouraging others to avoid going down the wrong path. My students cry, laugh, and share their life struggles while singing and performing on stage. Utilizing their musical gifts are a joy for them. They perform at concerts, convocations, and community homes. Inspiring others to believe that success is a stepping stone rings from their voices.
