Our elementary K-5 school serves a wide range of students, and we are specifically designated as an English Language Learning (ELL) school. Parents may choose to send their child to our school for added support with English as they learn. For the 2016-2017 school year we were a designated Title 1 school. Like many schools across the country, we strive to provide for our students in spite of funding cuts. Our PTO works hard to raise funds to supplement our needs, but money for classroom materials is in short supply, and it often falls to classroom teachers to come up with materials and the money for them. I'm a passionate early childhood teacher who forever finds kindergarten, and kindergartners, exciting, challenging, and fun!
