My students have great personalities. Many of them genuinely want to learn but some face struggles and are doing their best to overcome that. I have athletes, dancers, artists, and even a few future scientists. Many of them are worried about chemistry this year but are working hard to do their best. Some of them face challenges like not being about to afford the supplies they need and I can tell that it affects them, which is why I am creating this project. Most of them are simply doing the best they can with what they have and they have been inspiring me daily as I see how hard they are willing to work. My students have a great sense of humor and an overall positive attitude that makes it a great gift to be able to be their teacher! Many of my students need to improve their Math skills. By having the same calculator for the whole class I can easily explain problems that they need to understand. I believe every student should have the resources needed, to learn, available to them.
