All of the schools in our area serve students from low income areas. My classes are made up of the district's top ranking 2%- 3% of fourth and fifth graders. These students come from seven different elementary schools across the district. They may be impoverished financially, but they are full of life. They are lively and creative, funny, and clever. I see the potential these students have to lead full and successful lives. With the benefit of a good education, these students can be inventors, researchers, and leaders of the future.

About my class
