Our students come from all over the city and despite the differences among our students, one fact is very clear; our students are smart, curious, and capable. Communication, creativity, and critical problem solving skills will allow my students to be ready for the 21st century. They must be able to collaborate with others, have the skills to state their ideas effectively, and the perseverance to find solutions to real world problems. The Lego We Do 2.0 kit gives a springboard for students to start practicing these skills. The students will create prototypes, analyze and interpret their data, support their ideas with evidence and communicate their findings to their peers; all while learning coding and complex algorithms. To the students this fun and enriching learning center will feel like a game, and that is the beauty of making learning fun!
