My students are the happiest group of children I have yet to teach! I have a group of 24 boys and girls, between the ages to 7-9. Some of the children come from families without access to writing resources or technological devices when completing their assignments. In the classroom they collaborate with each other, compliment, ask high level questions, listen to one another, respond to one another, and help create an atmosphere of learning and respect. They have a thirst for knowledge. With all of this individual energy built up inside of them, a day does not go by without excitement transmitting from one student to another. Their electricity is contagious. Each student is his own star shining in our classroom of education at our public school.
