Our students are energetic and active, always looking for new ways to keep our bodies fit. We strive each day to keep our bodies moving to help our heart, bones and muscles as we maintain a healthy level of fitness. I continue to be amazed by the skills and motivation our students have as they are exposed to new activities and experiences. Fitness stations are a tool we use to expose our students to a variety of activities. Our students will have many more opportunities to work on the skills and personal goals. Our school caters to a high poverty area with at-risk students. Many of our students do not have the resources to work on their own and lack opportunities to do so. I strive to expose our students to a variety of skills that will help make them lifelong learners. Being in a low income area also affects our school budget and resources. We lack many basic pieces of equipment to help us achieve our goals.
