Students at my school are typical high schoolers who only want to complete the minimum requirements to get by! I want to motivate them to utilize a free program available to them via the school district in order to excel in the Standardized ACT and SAT Assessments necessary for consideration at many universities. "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail" is a quote from Benjamin Franklin that I try to live by and instill in my 10th grade students. Students now in the 11th and 12th grade, who no longer have me, often times tell me that they wish they still had me, especially regarding organizational skills. "Earning While Learning" is a program that I created and want to implement this school year! Students will earn "Zielke Dollars" for time spent actively engaged in PSAT/SAT/ACT online preparatory assignments.
