We are a Title I funded, public school in Texas. Our student body is considered "At-Risk". Our demographics include 51% Hispanic, 42% African America, 3% white, and 4% other (and growing), 40% Special Education, with over 90% being considered economically disadvantaged. Our school district is considered an International District. Our students come from a number of cultural heritages. Each one bringing with him/her his own cultural values, attitudes and learning styles. We strive to celebrate and accommodate them all by being diverse in our thinking and approach to educating them.

About my class
