My students are economically disadvantaged, have one or more disability that effects their learning, and are severely behind academically. They attend a school that consists of 98% economically disadvantaged students. Our school gets a majority of it's funding from the title one program. We do not have enough funding to provide my students the use of technology in their everyday learning. There are over 1100 students currently enrolled in our school. The school mission is to provide an enriched educational environment in which students expand their academic abilities regardless of their diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. We prepare students to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, and responsible productive citizens. I strive to live up to the school's mission statement, and your donation for an iPad will help me do that.
