My students range from 5-7 years old. They are in the first grade at a school that has K-6 students. We have about 140 first graders. We switch rooms throughout the day for intervention groups, which means the classroom library will not only impact my students but other students in first grade as well. At this age they are excited about learning and I want to instill that love of reading in them.
